Hello, I am new here and have recently acquired a 1968 Polar Craft jon boat, a 14/36 that had been a park ranger boat an it had found it's way to a farm pond for thirty years an more coats of paint then I care to count.Having been a trailer boat for years the boat was not beat up or rubed thin on the bottom..after a gallon of paint stripper on the outside of the hull I am down to the factory green. By any chance would anyone know the paint codes from that era?I am going to put the new Polar Craft hull decals on if I can find them an enjoy some fishing for the summer then restore the inside of boat over the next winter.I knew there was a great boat under all that paint, an there is. Thanks All,

If no specific responses here try polarkraft.com > contact us. you can leave them an email and see if they reply. We'd all like to know if they do or don't so keep in touch. There might even be somebody still there that was around in '68. A couple of yr ago I did see PK decals somewhere on the net. can't remember where/ I think I mentioned it in the old forum [ now unavailable ] . Good luck with the project and a great time fishing.

YOu also could try Facebook site Polar Kraft Boats and if you see an icon for MESSAGE clicking on that should send your question [ after you enter it ] right to someone who might be watching [ used to work ] and get you an answer or at least a response. I used to be able to access this FB page consistently but FB has made changes and this specific page has been tough for me to get to - if you don't see the icon for MESSAGE then I would try try again - I'm no FB expert but have have much luck with this process before FB changes.
