I recently went and tryed to put my kicker on and when I did the kicker would not fit on the transom,I took back off and shaved down the back plate on the kicker a 1/8 of an inch. Has anyone else had this problem

yes I had a older two stroke johnson on mine that did not fit (took the pads off the clamps to get it to work) but my new tohatsu fit, but with just 1/2 inch to spare.
